Welcome to an inspiring seminar on the international day of the United Nations!

Agenda 2030 Including persons with disabilities in international development cooperation

The UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) failed to include persons with disabilities, leaving out one of the poorest and most vulnerable groups from the global development agenda. This presents a great challenge and a golden opportunity for the new UN Agenda 2030 to drive a paradigm shift for a truly inclusive development.

How will the Agenda 2030 become a reality, in Sweden as well as globally? How can international development stakeholders ensure rights, participation and inclusion of persons with disabilities? These will be some of the issues highlighted during this afternoon.
